A story
Once upon a time I met a boy whose name was Juan. One day we started talking and going out together. Everything was going great, we were even planning to go and have dinner for Valentine’s Day.
However, one morning at school a rumour spread that he was dating another girl, and I could
not talk to him in the corridors, or even in recess. It was all strange and I was not happy.
One afternoon, my friends told me they had organised a surprise for me. We met and they covered my eyes and took me somewhere.
The place where we arrived was the football pitch where Juan played with his team. I saw him play, and he scored a goal. After the game, I could meet Juan, as my friends had planned, and we could talk. After a while talking, he confessed that he was trying to see if he
really liked me, that’s why he was avoiding me.
In the end, all was clear and we started going out together as a couple, as I had dreamed.
My fairy tale had finally come true! Now, I look myself in the mirror and remember how silly I was to believe all those rumours. I’ll never listen to rumours again, and you should also ignore them!
